Story

Preach Ankobia is a Canadian artist known for being a member of Kalmunity & his music from the Sur Le Rythme soundtrack. Preach co-founded Canada's 1st annual black arts & music week, The Kalmunity Music Week, hosting acts like Smif-N-Wessun, Sa-Roc, Iba Mahr, Lady Alma, Mumu Fresh & Lewis.Brown. Since 2003, Preach has released a series of singles & albums which were featured in programs & films such as Ray Donovan, Good Trouble, Shameless, Mohawk Girls, Claws, Derapages & Single Ladies. Preach has performed at events like The Montreal Jazz Fest, Osheaga, IF3, House of Paint alongside Public Enemy, Brother Ali, Big K.R.I.T, Maestro Fresh Wes & more. Currently Preach hosts The Lunchtime Takeover on CKUT 90.3FM, assists in the direction of festivals like Under Pressure, organizations like Stolen From Africa & directs Kalmunity.
