What is music to you? What does it give you?

Insights from beyond the veil - comfort and reassurance late at night or in the morning - ecstatic energetic flights of fantasy through the 37 dimensions of sound,..,., a space in which i can lose myself and then find myself again,,...,

What is your music dream?

to set up a standing-wave of sound that communicates across language barriers a message of connectedness and universal unity

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would provide an alternative career for people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder that satisfies their needs and also keeps them from doing harm to the rest of us.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Ozric Tentacles, Eat Static, Zubzub, Knifeworld, Gong, Guapo, Cardiacs, Air, Aphex Twin, the Cocteau Twins, Mouse on Mars, the Sisters of Mercy, the Cure, I also like a lot of Gnawa and Klezmer music.,.,

What inspires you to make music?

The incredible soul-searching meditative journies I have experienced during bouts of Insomnia, Alien Abduction Simulation Scenarios, the need to comb-straight the synapses after hard mental or emotional work.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Be Excellent to each other - Strangers aren't as hostile as the Press would like you to believe, or to become.,.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Exhilarated, a Conduit for something much greater than myself.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

There's so many more of us now than there were before the Internet. It's not easy to know the good from the bad - especially when the Gatekeepers are bread-heads who priotise cheaply produced bling-music with Daleks singing instead of people, and when tried and tested formulas eclipse any new forms.

What do you think of Drooble?

I like the Idea of a community of musicians - especially if we can find interest groups within that space, to further consolidate our tribes.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

having to take breaks - real-world needs like food, security and cleanliness take up so much time that could be used in other ways,.,.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I can only get out a fraction of the number of times per year that I would like to - of course, whilst this Pandemic is still raging there is no Live Music allowed at all (I feel bad for the Professionals just now), so I don't feel As bad about it as usual.,,

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Originality - Or at least rareness - Don't just Think outside the box - Create outside the box - stop copying Destiny's Child and the Black-Eyed Peas, there's already plenty of that stuff, what does the world need with one more slight copy of what's already all over the Radio?
