What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music takes me to a place where pain no longer hurts, where I can express myself limitlessly without having to say a word. I find it the most reliable emotional outlet that nevet lets down

What is your music dream?

To be able to play live music on a regular basis, and possibly as a full time job

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Hunger and eating disorders

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

The first time I heard Voodoo Chile it lit my soul on fire

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Pink Floyd is top of the list, after that its mostly all classic rock, The Tea Party, Muse, Tool, System of a Down to name a few more contemporary artists

What inspires you to make music?

The pain that comes with life, in all shapes and sizes, and the body's abilitity to overcome when paired with mental fortitude. Pain and misery are great building blocks for blues driven rock

What is the message you want to send with your music?

There are ways to cope with everything life throws at you, music being the #1 unprescribed medicine

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

It is the best feeling in the world when you see people hanging on every note you play and then wanting more, its an indescribable feeling

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I really like that bands are touring more, playing more and more shows instead of three years after an album they maybe come to a city nearby, that has been awesome as well as the apps like Spotify which expose you to all genres of music and artists still get royalties. Would like to find a forum to find bands to work with, which I hope is right here!

What do you think of Drooble?

I'm very new to this site, as in today, but I really like the platform and idea driving it, thank you for this Drooble

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Finding a band to work with can be difficult, I'm learning a lot about putting music out there to help buffer the audition process and show a lot more depth than just what is said or learned in a quick jam/audition

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Go to as many live shows a possible

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I'm trying to learn that myself. I believe supporting others and exposing them to your music is a great way to build friendships and opportunities rather than post and wait for someone to 'find' you

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Absinthe From Society, great hard rock band in Edmonton that I jam with
