I'm a producer that goes under the name of THE Quantum Flux, I've used that name since 1998 but people kept stealing it so here I am sticking a THE at the front of it. I'm a self taught electronic artist with a couple of noise boxes and synths, a computer and brain, being creative and just letting it all flow out via my music. I don't have a specific genre but lean towards dance and ambient stuff with the occasional mood/experimental one sneaking in. I hope you like my music and always welcome any constructive crit of my work, only way to learn is to listen and be taught. Many thanks
Music has been a staple in my life since I was a child, listening from the mid 70's to the current day, yes, I really am that old!! I listen to anything from Classical to Heavy Industrial, from the Beatles to the Foo Fighters, nothing musically is out. I'm self taught, have learnt everything I do from scratch, so no classical training in any way, shape or form. If I can do it as an escape, anybody can, it just takes time, effort and being able to take constructive crit.
My dream, that's a hard one, I'd like to go out live in the near future, as with all in this industry, I'm ot money orientated, I make music for others to enjoy, if there was a financial kick back, that would be a bonus.
Tough question, so much going wrong in the world. Cleaning up the planet and dispelling lies taught from the upper echelons of power. Clean energy, clean planet, people happily co-existing without the greed causing famine and wars.
OXYGENE!! That was a game changer for me when I first heard it in 1978
Far too many to mention, but JM Jarre, Kreftwerk, all early 80's synth groups, more recently Binary Finary, Above and Beyond, Moby, Depeche Mode and Duran Duran(which have been staples in my life since I was 11)
Anything. Mood, something I've seen, something I've done.
There's no major message, just listen and enjoy, it's what it's all about.
Used to be a DJ in years gone by - crowds are amazing. Taking out my own music would be a different kettle of fish, but your there for the crowd, giving a good show is a must!!
The market has changed, nuff said!!
It's a foot on the ladder, I hope it gives me a better outreach, the site is well designed and easy to use.
Not finishing a tune, that's it. Too many ideas and stuff going on.
When and where I can - real life stuff.
Far too many to mention.
