Paul Nash

I neglected music making to pursue a technical career. Now I want to spend more time being creative. I'd like to make music and movies resulting in a CD or DVD.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

A lot of enjoyment, I'm a big fan of a lot of music. When I have music playing in my home it really reduces my anxiety. When I listen to music loud it really gets me pumping. It's also one of my art forms and gives me a great means for expression.

What is your music dream?

To have a commercially produced CD of my music. I'd also love to have my music used on a movie soundtrack.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

End hate.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Aquarius/Let the Sunshine in.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Johnny Cash, The Doors, The Beatles, Kraftwerk, Wendy Carlos, The Residents, Beck...

What inspires you to make music?

It starts with the particular sound of an instrument.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Modern technology has greatly help the musician, particularly recording and production, but there is still great appreciation for well played, authentic sounding music. I don't think that will ever change.

What do you think of Drooble?

Great idea. I'd like to see it continue to develop. I hope to be able it to further my own musical expression.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

My limited talent.
