I'm a 49 year old woman from ST Thomas USVI raised in nyc . I'm a singer songwriter and music vocalist with 12 kids and 6 grandsons and a granddaughter. i have been singing and in the church since i was 1 years old. music is my life.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music to me is life. It gives me a way to express my thoughts and feelings and a way of life. I'm a singer songwriter and music vocalist. Music is freedom.

What is your music dream?

My music dream is to be the soulful singer I am and bring great music for everyone's listening pleasure to enjoy as much as I do. To be a great recording artist.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

If I could change the world I would change all of the racism and bad vibes people bring unto one another and crime. Just to be in unity. And all live happy.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

My memorable song from my childhood was ain't nothing going on but the rent by Gwen Guthrie was my grandma favorite song when I was younger she use to love to hear me sing it.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

My favorite musical artist are DMX, Stephanie Mills, Regina Belle, Angela Winbush, Chaka Khan, Melis'sa Morgan.

What inspires you to make music?

Everyday life situations inspire me and my own life experiences.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

My message is showing people that I'm human I understand and I'm not perfect. I been there.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel alive and energetic and loving the people who come to see me and hear me. It brings me joy and great pleasure to grace the stage.
