What is music to you? What does it give you?

Like aspirin cures headaches, Music cures emotion. Music is the thick thread that we need to make life really pleasant. It amplifies our emotions or it can even shut down unwanted emotions. Medicine for the soul and mind.

What is your music dream?

To be a composer for cinematography. This, because music in movies are actually the perfect playground to change moods. Even more so than regular music. I love to articulate music and have all the freedom in the world. Video is great for that.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

We should stop trying to invent things without looking what it does to the future. At the moment the world if fixated by it's current economies, and how to get rich and popular very fast. But we fail to look what it does to our future. For instance, the Internet itself. Or Facebook. It was a great idea but it hasn't been thought out very well. Instead of being more social we can now hide ourselves behind a psuedo social wall, stay home and never leave your room. It's easier to victimize others, because of anonimity and the lack of laws on the internet. But not only internet, others too. Even environmental issues we create with inventions today. Just because some companies or individuals get very rich by it. I would be more happy if the world was less economical focused. It isn't about money. It's about happiness and long and healthy lives.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Funny enough: Cindy Lauper - Goonies OST and just because it is hundred percent sentiment and that track is the main reason why I fell in love with the idea of being a soundtrack artist.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I really can't answer this question. Too much favorites, it wouldn't be fair to exclude some. Sorry!

What inspires you to make music?

To have better control of my emotions. Steer them, or choose to send them off into the abyss.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

No message, unless you need a message. Then it's up to you to find your own message that will help you. It does contain a story perhaps, but that's only important for me alone. As long as you like it, it will give me a boost to publish more! I love to hear what people feel and think while hearing my music. I love music psychology.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I perform at home. By myself, without audience. I am not a (public) performer. I would need to clean my underwear a few times, I guess. But, I am mainly a producer. Nice and safe in a studio.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

The reality is rather about money, than it is a pure, genuine compassion. So much people wanting to have a taste of the rich and famous, ( I rather not ) and forget all about the main reason of music,... It needs honesty and real devotion, for the love of music, not for the love of money.

What do you think of Drooble?

UPDATE 2019: Drooble should learn to speak and listen with its users. Ignoring them is not the solution but the beginning of the end. Unless they don't change that behaviour I predict a negative outcome for this website. I don't wish them such a thing. I hope they can redirect themselves and start to work on that. I am dissapointed by this. They promised a lot and never were able to execute, or they change things drastically without any warning. Drooble is in defensive mode, so they don't take criticism or unhappy users. Too bad. Again, I hope they change. In the meanwhile I am still glad I can hang around with the community here. But for how long, I wonder.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Sure, I have frustrations, but they come and go. It has no use to name them, for I believe it will be just a momentum. If a frustration is really getting me, I will try to solve it with the right person.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

It's really hard to support my local scene as a fan, just because I make music too. I rather support them as a friend, teacher or student. Share knowledge, help eachother, learn and remain respectable.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Unique sound, and a good portion of humbleness and honesty.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Again, way too much. At this moment, perhaps you should listen to "Moderat". Great artist, also have made one of the most intelligent soundtrack for the movie Annihilation! (google!)
