What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is life. It is the breath in my lungs. It is the sway in my swing. It is balance. It is love. It is joy. It is opposites. It gives me tools to carry through this journey we call Life. I love music.

What is your music dream?

I am living my musical dream. Which is to write it, record it, film it, sell it, give it, and perform it... But the ultimate is to do it for the rest of my life with ease and no worries. To touch those and heal those hearts that need it most or least. To engulf those with my voice and let them know everything's gonna be alright.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start with kindness. It is something we can start with ourselves and then spread around the world. If I could inspire people to be more kind and do kind acts, we can change perspectives.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Cisko Kid

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I really have way to many favorite musical artists and bands. I think it would take a a small pamphlet to read. So I will say I like just about all genres.

What inspires you to make music?

I don't know the "thing" that inspires me to make music. It's a must for me. I have to do it. Inspiration for me just gives me the kind or style of music that I am inspired to do at that moment.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Spread Love Not Hate

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel as if it is my moment of prayer. The time when I commune with God. When there is a silent channel, and for a moment I'm not really on stage. I love that about music and stage performances.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Today, I think that the reality is we will wear more hats. There are many more moving parts for an artist to be aware of today. They not only must be creative but also, administrative, agents, managers, photographers, videographers, media experts, salesmen, and so many more hats. It can really send a person in a tailspin. I think the improvements really are for the artists to do. Things are this way now, so the best thing would be to take some time to learn what is out there. What is available to you. Learn how to use it. Even if, in the end you decide to hire someone, you will still understand why you need them.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far, this is an amazing platform with tons of opportunity. I am so pleased that it was passed on to me by a friend and fellow artist using Drooble. If it weren't for the people like you who care about music and artists, it'd be even more difficult to manage.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I am most frustrated by the many gates and gatekeepers there are in the business. Fortunately, we live in a time where those barriers are being torn down by the internet. The rest is now up to you. SO i get frustrated by people, other musicians who have a very closed mind to all the possibilities at our fingertips.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I follow a few very close friends in the local scene. However, my goal is a little more far reaching than local. So I support many of my fellow musicians on-line.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I think today, just like in the past you must be consistent. It is the first key. Next you must be persistent. That is next. You must be focused. And, you must have discipline. These things are the best tools in my honest opinion.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

I am a huge fan of Zapp Mama. They have a lot of vocal songs that I really dig. I discovered on YouTube an artist called Masego and I think his music is really cool. A friend and colleague of mine has some really great music "Dirty Water". I like to find people on YouTube.
