I am a rather late starter in creating music. A love that I carry with me for a long time but that was never pursued before. About three years ago that changed, and it changed quite a big part of my life. I try to be honest to myself, also if it comes to music. I do what I prefer to listen to myself - and I try to stick to that. My creations are said to be rather unique - "NorbertSN" style is what came about. Whilst this might not be true for every track I created so far and will create in future, this is a great achievement for me in itself. To be perceived as a producer of music with its own style, certainly reminding of others sometimes, but seldomly sounding like others. I hope you will like this style and I am certainly always open for collaborations if you are interested.
Creativity. And freedom of mind. Pleasure and satisfaction. An antipole to work.
To have my tracks heard by more people. To share my musical creations to a lot of people and give listeners good times.
Tear down mental walls and prejudice.
Childhood... hmm, I think this is Status Quo - Whatever you want. Still love that song.
There are so many that I can't name them all. I like music, all kinds of music. I am inspired by a lot of Hip Hop and Rap artists and groups, same goes with electronic producers. And I still love Metal and Hardrock, a love that started very early with bands like AC/DC, Motörhead, Danzig. Then there's classic, jazz, rock. I guess that I tend to like music that touches me - in whichever way.
To reset my mind to completely different things compared to work. To express feelings - melodic or rhythmic - via audio. And, simply, having fun. Alone or with other artists, it is such a rewarding thing to do.
Don't fear to be different. Lead. Don't follow. Be your own master.
I can't tell, haven't done it yet. My only performances so far were in school theatre back then, that was pretty amazing - does that count? ;) I'd love to see reactions of the audience to my music - if it moves them, pulls them in or not.
I'll have to pass that answer. However, the attention that is sometimes said to be given to songs and then missing action afterwards is something that could be improved. That "talk but no action" issue seems to be deeply anchored in modern brains.
Drooble is the best thing that I have discovered online for my music brain so far. Open, welcoming, seemingly limitless. Advice where advice is needed. Only a few "self promoters". mostly straight down to music - acoustic, electric, electronic. I hope that it will live long and prosper!
The "just passing by" attitude of most people. Barely anyone takes time to listen to a song in full, to discover it's full potential. This is a shame from my point of view.
Not so much, I try to support via electronic media.
Oh, I would like to know this as well! ;)
Hmm, struggling here. There's so many talent out, I can only invoke people to listen with open minds and fresh ears.
