For me, music is a way to escape from reality and just relax and feel the emotion in it. Music gives me an outlet to talk about issues I don't tend to talk about with family or friends.
I don't necessarily wanna be a big artist, but I'd like to play shows and establish a fanbase full of wonderful people. I'd like to be able to live off of my music as well.
Oh, that's a hard question... I'd probably start with making both men and women equal. I believe it's not fair or healthy for men to have to hide our emotions and I also believe it's not fair for women to be paid less than men or be required to marry someone and have a family.
The most memorable song from my childhood has got to be "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic. That song was all I remember listening to a few years after my dad passed away.
My favorite musical artists and bands have got to be coldrain, Michael Wavves, and The Weeknd. There's a few more, but I listed my top 3.
I want to connect with people through my music. I tend to write about real experiences I've had and real feelings I've had. I enjoy telling a story through my music.
You aren't alone. I struggle with depression just like many other people do and ultimately feel very lonely, especially in certain situations. I tell my stories, thoughts, and experiences to really drive home the fact that you aren't alone. There's other people out there going through the same thing you are.
Well, at the moment I haven't performed in front of an audience yet. I'm hoping to change that in the near future.
