Nigel Chrichlow

nRiching the World with Music for the Spirit and Soul!

The founder of nRich Music Nigel Chrichlow and his son Nigel Nick Jr. Chrichlow are modern day Abolitionist who sing against the terrible crimes against humanity. We herald songs of Freedom through relevant music. It was very difficult to really do what I am doing today, at the age of 14 years old I wrote my first song at church, only then realizing the inner talent/gift of composing and began writing as the inspiration kept flowing, I composed at least 25 songs by age 21, recorded the rough song as it came to me using my cassette tape recorder, sometimes I would complete a song in 4 minutes flat, three verses, chorus and sometimes a bridge. At age 21, I went to a prominent singer songwriter for advice and played a few of my songs for him, what he told me caused great discouragement, he told me that I was too old to get into the music business, I left there with all my hopes and dreams of being a singer/songwriter being shattered. I stopped writing for a few years until I literally heard a voice which I could only determine that it is the voice of the Lord saying to me ‘Nigel if you don’t use your talent you would lose it’, with tears in my eyes, I said Lord I don’t want to lose it and on that very same day I started writing and it was like two songs per day almost every day for weeks. With now haven composed at least 175 songs. Now at the age of 57 years young, I am accomplishing my dreams and goals of creating electronic music and having my songs produced and have done live performances. I have learned that not every setback/disappointment is a bad thing, some are to teach you patience and to direct you to your desired goals and dreams in a manner where the only One to get the glory is the Lord, now with the amount of songs composed, all I need to do now is create modern music for my vintage songs. The passion is awesome.
