Story

Like a great many artists, Canadian-based nasmore grew up constantly attached the instruments surrounding him, fully immersed within music of all kinds as a listener, while teaching himself the fundamentals of how to write & play his own songs. With an exploratory and adventurous spirit, a tremendous natural skillset, and the courage to experiment with anything & everything new to him – nasmore developed an authentic taste for diversity that he instantly infused into his own unique process. In 2021-2022 he released a series of stunning singles. As he continued to morph, shape, and refine his talent – nasmore made an even more pivotal decision in the direction of his music career to recruit guest-stars, and he began a collaborative process that soon became an essential part of the profound joy he discovered within the creative realm. In 2022 nasmore joined forces with Neil Taylor, a former member of new wave legends Tears for Fears and Robbie Williams band and a long-term collaborator with stars like Tina Turner, Chris De Burgh, Natalie Imbruglia, Metallica, Phil Collins, Kylie Minogue, and more. Every move he makes becomes a giant leap in taking his insatiable creativity, compositions, and career to the next level. With an authentic style that seamlessly blends all the best elements of pop, hip-hop, indie rock, R&B, and classical music, nasmore’s sound can be eccentric and moody, romantic and lovely, or dark, intense, eerie, and poignant. His music is inspired by Imagine Dragons, Billie Eilish, Tommee Proffitt, League of Legends, The Weekend, Scorpions, Metallica, Aerosmith, Hans Zimmer, and The Score. What is music to you? What does it give you?

I'm not sure if I really like music, but it's a great gate to get my creativity out.

To get it to the point when I can throw a big joint concert with every singer I ever collaborated with.

What inspires you to make music?

I was born with music inside. When I have too much of it, it spills out.

Many different messages deserve to be sent with the music. But since music is a psychological weapon, it needs to be used wisely.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Responsible. This is the moment you get their full attention. It's precious and must not be wasted.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think it's evolving as it should be.
