Records (Artist Development Dept.): Mitchel worked either in the studio or on the concert stage with Ricky Lee Jones, The Who, Michael McDonald and the Doobie Bros., Donna Lauren, Van Halen, Christopher Cross, Prince, and Ambrosia. • Mitchel Delevie also wrote a technical manual about producing live shows for Warner Bros. Records called “The Book of the Road." This book is still being used today as a reference book for artists, tour managers, and producers to help them plan their shows in many venues in the U. S. A. • For Motown Records: Working with the Vice-President, Smokey Robinson, Mitchel produced, engineered, and went on world tours to ensure Smokey had the record quality sound necessary for the Smokey’s live show.
