What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a means of personal expression and reflection for me. Music gives me life! It fills my heart with many emotions. Sometimes it's joy, sometimes Sadness, melancholy, anger, frustration, love, bliss just to name a few!

What is your music dream?

I no longer really have any big aspirations to make it in music. These days, I just tend to record cover songs and play my guitars. I have a home studio and have really enjoyed learning how to use Sonar X3 Producer. It keeps me busy and out of trouble!

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Kindness. The whole world seems to be so angry with everyone. Social Media is pretty much nothing but hate and discontent. It would be awesome to see People be kind to one another once again!!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

This is a Tough one!! I would say Shine On You Crazy Diamond is my favorite song. I love Pink Floyd music. It's timeless and still resonates today!

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Stones, The Beatles, Bob Seger, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, Bad Company, Queen, Slade, Foghat, Styx, REO Speedwagon, and the list goes on and on.......

What inspires you to make music?

The need to express myself. Music is the Fundamental Language of the Universe!

What is the message you want to send with your music?

If my music bring a smile or a tear to just one person, I've accomplished my task at hand.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

When there is a connection between the Artist and the audience, it doesn't get any better than that. I always try for that Connection.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think that the internet has brought a lot of tools to today's musicians. With the new legislation that has been recently passed, musicians will be able to finally get paid for their music. For a long while there, you could get any music you wanted for free. I have always believed that musicians should be paid for their music. It takes a lot of hard work to become a fluent musician. That should be respected.

What do you think of Drooble?

SO far, I find Drooble to be a good platform. I have just recently started using it more often. I think I signed up a while ago, but I've never spent a lot of time on here. Its great that we have a site just for musicians. Facebook has become terrible.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The fact that a Musician has to pay a Venue to play there. I don't understand that mentality.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I used to a lot. Now that I'me older...I don't go out to Clubs much anymore. I do attend a lot of Concerts every year and I do buy a few local bands music.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I don't feel that there is any magic button for this. It's often about timing...being at the right place at the right time. I feel that sometimes it's sheer luck. I also feel that if you're young, talented, and work hard...you can make a living doing music.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

The Ty Curtis Band, Savoy Brown, Skidrow from Ireland, all the old Blues men like Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters, Freddy King, Lightning Hopkins.........
