I'm not the best at speaking my mind. I find it rather hard to put emotions into context. However, music has been the only method I've found to be able to release the inner tension and frustration that's held within.
I've always dreamt of being on stage. However, my anxious human has stage fright so unfortunately I'm limited to staying in my cave with a midi keyboard, and that's okay too (:
We have to be the change we want to see. Unfortunately we cannot snap our fingers and recover all that we have lost thus far; but if each of us strived to seek our innermost conscious part of ourselves, we could help bring about a happier and spiritually progressive society in which we can create limitlessly and not be bound by foul human behavior.

most of my melodies arise through altered states of consciousness, where as beat making stems from my day to day human experiences
My instrumental work can only bring forth so much attention. My acoustic lyrical tunes which have yet to be produced bring an entire new vision forward, one in which I speak a lot on human behavior and trying to understand and function in this multidimensional reality.
I've yet to experience that in a conscious level. As a kid, I performed at church often as a rhythm guitarist. Although on stage, I wasn't playing from the heart, I had no idea what I was doing there. However now that I know what kind of message I would like to portray through my music; I find it difficult to put myself in front of others for ridicule essentially, knowing they are unlikely to respond well to the concepts I am trying to bring forth. People want to be entertained, not lectured.
too many people are doing this for attention. their sounds are similar, they go with what others would want to hear. I doubt they think twice in the messages they're putting out. I wish others would use this outlet as a means of metaphoric communications rather than pure entertainment at clubs and bars.
I have very much taken a liking to this site and will try to use it more often
I have 6 years of orchestra under my belt and that's all the music theory I happen to know. al though its quite simple for me to hear the notes in my head, having a better understanding of music theory would help keep the frustration relatively low.
I don't as much as I used to. I would love to get out there more and interact with local artist if I could
You must remain true to yourself. You cannot expect others to appreciate the work you've done if you cannot do it yourself. It's one thing to seek inspiration from others but originality stems from understanding your skills and personalizing your creativity to help reflect a non physical aspect of yourself.
