What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is more or less one of the biggest reasons I am where I am today as a person. It started in late intermediate / early middle school when I joined the concert band on the trumpet. Now I use music to express myself, to teach, and as a way of life.

What is your music dream?

I don't need to blow up, simply okay with making a solid living off the industry.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

My own community.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

That's a tough one; honestly probably hot cross buns or ode to joy, hence they were the first tunes I learned on my first instrument.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Too many; Mike Tompkins, Peter Hollens, Kurt Hugo Schneider, Sam Tsui, Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, Zomboy, Kill the Noise, Knife Party, Chime, Sullivan King, Cole Rolland, Alfred Moonboots, Pegboard Nerds, Teminite, PsoGnar, Grandson, Queen, Panic! at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, Kites and Powerlines, Kaskobi, Nev, Zedd, Illijam, Hobo Johnson.

What inspires you to make music?

Other music, moments in time, and my emotions.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I am fun and love complexity and yet know when to be serious and simple.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Empowered.

What do you think of Drooble?

Love it, this is a fantastic outlet for artists to meet other artists right from home!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The seeming inability to complete projects or simply the lack of motivation.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I attend many others' performances and often purchase merchandise or even donate to the artists.
