Story

I started playing the trumpet in school at age 9 finished at age 17.....i then started witing songs and taught myself to play many instruments....good enough for the songs i wrote but not really knowing the proper way....soooo i call myself a jack of all trades but a master of none.....i wrote over 100 songs in about 15 years but when i started work at Harpo studios i had no time for music anymore...then i took care of elderly parents for 20 years....now that that is over ... im trying to get back to my music....everyone in life is proud of their family...children...i never married sooo my songs are like my children i am proud of.....but can i realy now go back?? music changes every 10 years or so...and my music is from my younger days....sooo??? 20? 30?? years old....do people even like that style anymore?? well i for one am proud of my tunes, and i hope some others will also like what i have to offer

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is my drug of choice...it makes me smile...gets me thru hard times

Kinda what i just said....to make people smile..and my lyrics might be able to get some one thru hard times

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

hmmmm....eliminate testosterone lol....it has started most wars thru out all of mankind

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

OMG too many to list......

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

as a youth in the 60s The Beatles and the Monkees in the 70s as a teen any band or artist that had layered vocal harmonies....its what i liked

What inspires you to make music?

Life...love...family...experiences....heartaches...happiness

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Njoy and sing a long

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

havnt performed in front of an audience in 40 years....but when i did it was fun

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

i miss harmonies....every generation has their own style, and harmonies have kinda gone away...i guess im older and i liked music with more harmonies

What frustrates you most as a musician?

not being able to play more instruments

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

every artist/musician has their own fan base...there is no right or wrong...just try and find your own fan base and let them enjoy what you do

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

growing up in the 60s ....70s.... and 80s music had alot of harmonies and that faded away in the 90s....i discovered a band on vacation at the worlds fair in Vancouver , BC, Canada........ Expo86 they are a family band still performing now.....The Barra MacNeils...they're ..sibling harmonies are awesome and they play multiple instruments....sooo this is a band i like that might not be that popular other than in Canada where they are from
