What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is an Art form to me which enables creative expression and gives personal satisfaction and enjoyment to others. I have always loved my Music from early Childhood, and the creative side with the beginnings of each new song from the Blank Canvas we start with. I guess I am still on that Unfinished Journey through my life.

What is your music dream?

I am realising my dream now, by recording my own songs professionally. To record and play as long as I am able hopefully pass on my experience to any of my Grandchildren that may take direction in the Music Business.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Music is the Language of the World, it breaks down walls and barriers, communicates to the whole world when you play your Guitar and express feelings and emotions in your lyrics of each song I would start with ending all the wars, on Earth, but sadly, I am sure we all know that is probably an impossible task.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

That's all right Mama Elvis Presley Satisfaction Rolling Stones.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Elvis, Van Morrison Buddy Holly, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, BB King, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Freddie King, SRV, Roy Orbison, Everly Brothers, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Bob Dylan. Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival,

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Every Artist is different, different influences, styles, one must go with self belief in ones own ability. We all have our own ways of making presenting our Music whatever the Genre.

What do you think of Drooble?

I have only just joined Drooble, it is too early to make an informed opinion, but I like what I have seen, it certainly is a wide ranging platform for Musicians of any Genre, to liaise, it promotes ideas and gives great encouragement and inspiration to Artists, with the system Drooble has devised. Rewarding and reaches out promoting your own Music to those who had never heard it before.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Inferior poor PA sound issues when performing live, Guitar and Microphone inferior sound Quality, thereby preventing best performances by any artist.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes, I am out every week playing performing at different venues, open mic etc. Festivals on occasions, I enjoy the performances of other artists.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Talent helps I guess, but there are few of us in this World that are gifted to play Guitar say like BB King Peter Green Eric Clapton, or to sing like Elvis or Roy Orbison, or be Song Composers the calibre of Dylan Neil Young John Lennon and Paul McCartney so Quality, content, good vocal good playing, good songs, good lyrics. Something that stands out, so many great songs have already been done, by the great composers, singers, Guitarists.
