Recipients of New Group of the Year, nominees for Rock Group of the Year, Punk Group of the Year, and Original Group of the Year at the 11th Niagara Music Awards, finalists for GAIN Music Battle of the Bands 2018, touring with the Boston-originated band bloom., Otherwives has achieved many great things in the short amount of time they have been together. They came up strong with the release of their debut EP "Grace" on January 4th, 2018 and are already releasing singles and another EP in the fall of 2019. After their EP release, the band split ways with Colonico who took over as co manager and Matteo Ramundo was later added as the new official drummer of the band. Although Otherwives can be considered traditional "pop punk", this band is not afraid to experiment with alternative, emo, and hardcore genres, taking influence from bands such as blink-182, Sum 41, Rise Against, but also from bands like American Football, Brand New, and The Gaslight Anthem. The band has played numerous shows all across Southern Ontario including Toronto, Hamilton, Guelph, London, Cayuga, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, and Welland and they are sure to be breaking past the local waves soon.
