Most recently Matt has been working with Professor Brainius (children's science performer) on songs for the stage. The earliest of these tracks have already been heard by hundreds of thousands of ears during the professor's innumerable live performances. Matt also works on music for commercial projects where custom music is required. Most notable of these have been projects aired on national TV and radio. The tracks featured on this site span three decades; and are mostly concept proofs, practice sessions, public domain, or those not otherwise encumbered. The occasional cover song may show up here, but is rare. Some production notes and comments have been added for many tracks within the "lyrics" area of each. If you hear something you like, please send a note telling us which pieces you enjoyed. Licensing information: email (support at AVAREN.com) with a brief description of your needs. Creating music is a lot of fun. In my case at least half the time I am doing it purely for practice purposes; to learn a new software or hardware package. Getting better over the years has been really rewarding too; from a personal development perspective.
I want to finish more Professor Brainius songs.

Playing quality synthesizers (tweaking knobs) is about as much fun as a person can have.
I get to stay in the lab.
More playing by hand is all that is needed IMO. When things are played by hand, all is right with the world. ;)
Nice.
