After writing lyrics for 30 years+ I realized that I can now say it will never let me go, I will do this until I die so I should push as hard as I can to make a living doing what I love doing with my whole heart. Some say people reassess their life once they are at the "midpoint" - and I agree with it. For too long I've been doing my writing half-assed and being complacent with staying in the shadows within BMI. I switched to ASCAP as an Author/Publisher to take initiative and charge of my career in 2018. The highlight for me was attending the ASCAP EXPO and learning from the Singers, Songwriters, Producers & Publishers. I met top Executives at ASCAP, made contacts and my commitment is to go full throttle to get beyond the excuses I've had to create the best work I can with top notch co-writes and musicians.
