Music is a way to share without speaking, to feel without touching, and to travel without moving. As Leibniz once said, it is the pleasure the human mind experiences from counting without being aware that it is counting.
To make something that I would enjoy listening to later on, to discover more about how good music is made and to feel a part of something bigger.
Switch on everybody’s empathy - a capacity I think we all share but which often atrophies as other concerns take precedence in our lives. With true empathy, a lot of the world’s problems could be reduced or eliminated.
