What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music to me is a universal language, a way to communicate with everyone around the world. It transcends all differences among us. It gives me energy and joy to play music for others

To play live music for an audience every day of my life

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start by changing myself first.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I grew up listening to The Grateful Dead, so really anything by them, but notably, Truckin', Touch of Grey, or their version of Not Fade Away

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Grateful Dead, Ben Folds Five, Phish, Herbie Hancock, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, to name a few..

What inspires you to make music?

Knowing that my music has the potential to help someone get through a difficult time, relax after work, or bring them joy.. That really inspires me

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Not to be so hard on ourselves, we live in a culture, where there's such a high demand for performance, metrics, and constantly defining what's "Right" and "Wrong". It's ok to be unsure, it's the heart that's most important. The act of challenging yourself wholeheartedly is in itself a victory.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel invigorated, especially when I can connect with an audience emotionally, to help them enjoy the performance.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

In a world of Algorithms and social media.. Sometimes a human element can be lost. What kind of value are we creating for our audience? Striving to connect with our listeners, replying to comments, putting out personalized videos, being unique, and sending a message that all our own. These are important factors to consider.
