Story

Born in Sucre, Bolivia. I discovered my musical talent at my 15 years with only my grandfather's old classical guitar; I started living alone since I was 17 and I had to learn the art of music empirically. Regardless of that limitation, today I continue my passion composing and combining musical styles mostly influenced by independent musicians. The main intention of my music, almost entirely instrumental, is to create songs that make the listener imagine what that song could say, giving a totally personal experience. In 2014 I already had more than 20 songs and I continue writing more, hoping that one day I can record them with real instruments, which will always be better than digital sounds, no matter how good they are. I hope you enjoy! ¡Espero disfrutes!

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the global language of feelings, thoughts and words...irradiated in the way that only Nature can allow us among humans.

What is your music dream?

I want to have my own music studio. I want to be a music producer in the future.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Global education. We all have something to give to the World, and we all need to recieve something from it. Knowledge is the most feared weapon.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Roulette Dares - The Mars Volta Parabola - Tool Latin Simone - Gorillaz

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Diablo Swing Orchestra; Tool; RATM; SOAD; The Mars Volta; Les Claypool; Omar Rodríguez López; Mon LaFerte; Bajofondo Tango Club; Les Luthiers and many many more...

What inspires you to make music?

Stories. I'm not lyricist, so i make instrumental music for you to feel/imagine what i want to say in the melodies of the songs. Everything i want to say, i do it musically.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I want people to know that everything is possible through music, even if this is a song with one keyboard, an entire orchestra or digital music. You can express it even if is the background.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Nervious, like most people, but very happy, because they are there ready to listen to me, and they're constantly recieving the energy.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Art is the way that humans were constanty working through time even without noticing, and music is evolving in giant steps. Today, you can find musicians everywhere, but few are really appreciated, the music industry is getting bigger and is hard for some musicians to get to that level in a worldwide calibre. However, there are sites like Drooble and others. They are improving their UE and discovering new talents; new communities where you can meet people, create and make art in a way like NEVER before. I say thanks to Drooble and those sites to make that possible.

What do you think of Drooble?

Drooble is the unification of those who want to hear and who want to be heard. I believe that this is what the World is about, of uniting people with the same interest to reinforce the humanity that we all have inside, and Drooble facilitates that to us all through music. I'm happy to be here.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The biggest frustration I have is that not all countries have that possibility of being heard as musicians. For example in my country there's no support for talent, you have to fight against that everyday.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I tell my friends about something i like the most. Specially if it's music. I think that my support is being in the shows and spreading the name of the band or the artist.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Originality. We all know the "intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus-outro" kind of song, and that's why they sound exactly like the others. Imagination, learn the rules for breaking them after that, the audience always want to hear something "out of the box". Perseverance and constance.
