What is music to you? What does it give you?

Pretty much everything I am and have become I owe to playing music and performing.

What is your music dream?

Nowadays I just want to have the opportunity to play and perform in front of local crowds at clubs and parties.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Taking care of people and eliminating hunger and poverty in the world.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

'Light My Fire' from the Doors...

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The list is endless, but mostly comes from artists and guitarists from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

What inspires you to make music?

There is no other feeling in the world that compares to performing in front of people and making them happy.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Be happy...

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Nothing like it...if everything is really going well you cannot compare it to anything else.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

The industry is garbage nowadays. It was bad and somewhat ruthless in the past, but IMHO has only gotten worse. If you listen to most of the new songs that are coming out, most have just one part throughout which indicates that the industry is more than willing to sell anything they feel can make them $$, regardless of the overall quality or talent of the artists involved. In other words I seriously doubt we will ever see the likes of a 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Layla' or 'Stairway To Heaven' from 40 or so years ago, or say '1979', 'Rooster' or 'Teen Spirit' from more recent years. Those artists and songwriters who make music independently should be compensated much more than they currently have been...that part of the business is an absolute disgrace.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far it seems like a great resource that I hope to take full advantage of in the near future...

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Personally finding good musicians who are willing to put in the time and effort needed to get out there and perform at local clubs and other events. That used to be much easier in the old days....

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I do as much as I can by supporting bands I know locally, especially if friends are involved with them.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

The desire to play as much as possible whenever the opportunity presents itself, whether it be at a local jam or a club gig.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Glenn Proudfoot and Phillip Sayce are 2 of my favorite guitarists out there right now...they are both monsters.
