Good music makes you fantasize, about anything.
My music dream would be to be able to listen to any music without tinnitus. It's like listening through a white noise filter right now.
World peace. This isn't the Miss World contest, is it?
That would be Ommadawn by Mike Oldfield. Having heard the album at the age of 13 I was hooked to his music for the rest of my life.
Besides Mike Oldfield that would be Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Camel, The Alan Parsons Project, Deep Forest and so on. Mainly Prog and preferably instrumental. Plus all the synth gods from the seventies: Neu, Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, etc. etc.
The urge to be creative in any way. I've done some graphics in the past, and still do some photographing, but making noises suits me better.
None whatsoever. If the music appeals to you, it's fine by me. If it doesn't so be it.
I do not and will not ever play in public.
Music can easily be copied so the waiting is on a format in which it can not be copied any longer. Shouldn't be that hard to invent such a thing?
Looks to me like a fine bunch of people.
What frustrates me most is the time it takes to get a composition right as I want it to be. Not the flaws and all. My music is far from perfection, but if it's good enough for me it should be good enough for anyone.
I do not. Haven't met anyone around here yet with the same taste in music as me. On the internet however you get to meet the most interesting people around.
Start by composing something original. Not try to sound like someone who's already succesfull.
Mike Hilton and Dave Svensson are some nice guys I've worked with in the past. Check them out right here at Drooble!
