I am a vocalist for Mars For You, a Ukrainian alternative rock band formed in 2013 by me (vocalist/songwriter) and a drummer/guitarist/bassist/sound engineer. We have decided to express ourselves through music and lyrics. When we had enough songs to play, we found a guitarist and then a bassist. Mars Foir You had some lives in 2015/2016 and 2017 has been quite calm, 'cos we are finishing their first EP and looking for another bassist and a second guitarist.
Music is a way of expressing my feelings. Some people write books, paint or dance to relieve tension. I write lyrics, music and sing.
I just want to bring to life all my ideas. Keeping them inside is quite hard.
I would start with supporting musicians and other artists no matter how famous they are. I think people must easily travel the world, spread their ideas and learn from other cultures.

In my reality musicians have to work hard both to earn money for the living, and improve themselves as musicians. Sometimes it's hard to combine. Getting popular is a long way, and some people stop playing, singing or writing music because of different issues.

Yes, I often go to local gigs and festivals. Being a musician sometimes gives you an opportunity to enter free, but I always pay money, 'cos I know that it's important for musicians who are on stage.
Every musician must be hardworking. You can't become a professional singer just because you have a pleasant voice and an ear for music. You also must learn new technologies, be ready to work in a team and not afraid to rewrite your music or lyrics 200 times before you understand it's done. Music must be more important than anything else if you want to reach your goal.
