Marcelo Roascio

Bio

Marcelo Roascio is a guitarist, composer, producer and clinician from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He plays instrumental rock with his band "roascio RCM". He also teaches guitar and has written over fifteen books with audio CD, which are being sold all over Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. In 1993, he was part of Steve Lynch's (Autograph) argentine band. In 2001, Roascio played with guitar player/clinician Marc "Coop" Cooper. In 2008, he played in Stuart Hamm's argentine band during his local "Hartke Tour", and again in 2016, he played two shows with him. During his career, Roascio worked in clinics with George Benson, Marty Friedman, Nico McBrain, Steve Morse, Gregg Bissonette, John Patitucci, Lee Oskar, Nita Strauss, Tosin Abasi, etc. Nowadays, Roascio plays with his instrumental band "Roascio RCM", having released the CDs "Espías", "Dos de Tres", "Todo en un Dia / All in a Day"(Boosweet Records) and hes latest, "In the right place", featuring guest like Stuart Hamm, Vernon Neilly and Walter Giardino (Rata Blanca). Roascio is international endorser for Ernie Ball/Music Man guitars, Ernie Ball strings, Morley wah's, Kirlin cables, Valeton pedals and Orange amps.
