Primarily it's great unparalleled fun! Nicely written and executed music puts everything back in place
Play music!!
A nice song!!
"Love's in need of love today", by Stevie Wonder as heard on the album "Songs in the key of life"
Django Reinhardt, John Coltrane, Tom Jobim, Chet Atkins, BBking, Chuck Berry, Bob Marley, Herbie Hancock, James Brown, Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Queen, Sting/ The Police, Steely Dan, Pixies, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Radiohead, Blur, Supergrass, Massive Attack...there's not enough space to list them all!!!
It's just a matter of communication rewarded with fun. The urge to say things I can't speak.
Everything is connected, we are all parts of the whole picture. My music should just make these connections between people more tangible, aiming to put everyone involved in the right place.
In place: feels like home, safe and warm....
Musicians nowadays have lots more opportunities to achieve great results, it's nothing like when I started where everything was harder from finding material to practicing and even connecting with other musicians! Many people improved at light speed, informations are available to everyone now. The way of expressions also have no more boundaries, and musicians are free to express themselves more than ever. Problems come from where the money are within the industry and what makes the money move: that seems to me nowadays the only major impediment for the musicians all over the world who are becoming too much clerks of the music. One should say something only because and when he feels like he should, not because of a deadline, or a bill to pay, but I guess that's just the last act of something that dates back a while ago. It's part of the cons that comes with the pros I mentioned earlier.
Great idea!
When I don't enjoy what I am playing for any reason. When it's time to play music everything must be perfect!!
I enjoy going to as many live gigs as possible and also happy to feature when invited
Strong messages expressed in simple effective ways.
