Biography El Dj Malo was born and raised in Chicago and later moved to Milwaukee with the group” Da Dead Gods ”. Before moving to Milwaukee Malico created one of Chicago’s biggest DJ Teams “The Demetrix Daring Dozen”. Malico had a passion for music at a young age. In High School he began is DJ Career spinning music in Chicago’s competitive market. “In Chicago you had to create a name for yourself instead of waiting for it to just happen” The success and taste of “DJ Stardom” took Malico to the next level where he became an artist, El Malo MC. His Debut song “A little more Bass” was played on “mix tapes” and nite clubs throughout the city. Malico and Dj Jumpin Joe formed DDG and left Chicago because at the time Chicago was more of a “House Nation” making it difficult to be taken serious as a hip hop group. This angered and frustrated Malico eventually discouraging him from the music scene. Up until now Malico appeared on some mixed CD’s and compilations but never really got that chance to put out his solo “master piece” of an album until now.. Malico has combined his multiracial cultures, experiences, and languages that has a created a whole melting pot of “Hot Spicy Menudo”.
