There are not many gigs around here, especially after my favourite bar/venue closed, but I show up and promote about every chance I get elsewhere. :)
As musicians, we have to have passion, and strong will to work on what we do, to keep going regardless. Music is meant to be felt, not merely heard. You get nothing in life without working for it, overnight fame is meaningless, and you have to be able to take the inevitable hatred or boo'ing from some people with a grain of salt.
Marte's, Italian power/heavy metal, now just doing covers but I see so much hope in them I'm dying for more. chick has voice of iron!
