Eradicate hunger, poverty, avoid war, maintain conservation, preserve the Earth

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

If I Were A Carpenter

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Tim Hardin, Dan Fogelberg, Paul Simon, America, Crosby Stills Nash ,Jim Croce .Hank Williams , Elvis

What inspires you to make music?

Relationships, family, different guitar sounds, melody , writing composing, giving new songs to the world Continuous study of technique and mandolin, and 12 string guitar

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Be different, not corporate, individual, let the songs flow through you, write from what you know about, study an instrument for composing , always try for originality in your own style, style stays fashion fades

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Sense of achievement, wonderful moment connecting with others, free thought , a sense of its all worth the hours writing practising , when you hear applause.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

For labels to invest in original songwriting talent, like years ago , back the original artist ,rather than just mainstream manufactured pop, which we are sold all the time..Back in the day , most artists first 2 or 3 albums sold poorly, but the label stuck with them. A solid writer"s album will make just as much money , and be around longer. All the old artists are still playing live, tours , it shows what the mass audience really want

What do you think of Drooble?

Wonderful site connect with other artists, spreading my music , listening to others originality interaction. Just what music online neeeds

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Being told to always play for free, as many artists do. One free introduction night is ok, though. Pop artists lip synching, earning fab money in the process. And there are venues that could benefit from original talent , themed song nights , professional sound , but they only have solely jam nights or open mic, or karaoke type tribute acts. They are in majority. For every one of these an original artist cannot be heard or paid This works for the venue not artist, and should benefit both . There should be a balance somehow

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes, if I can , go to see certain artists, wine bars, folk clubs , but not open mic nights

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Originality, sincerity, polished instrument playing technique , play in front of any audience, festivals, wine bars etc , I"ve done them all, and it helps , and different age ranges, Sing of things you believe in, you relate to, then people relate to you in turn. pitch songs to labels as writer not only performer. But labels have to change, otherwise manufactured pop computer beats , will stay til everyone is tired of it, which is maybe hopefully happening now.
