What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music makes me feel SOMETHING whether I want it to or not. I may be in a great mood but as soon as I hear an emotional song, I’m bawling. Nothing has ever affected me that greatly — and I want to make people feel the same way my favorite artists’ music makes me feel.

What is your music dream?

I want to make a living playing my own songs, performing for people who want to hear.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

People’s insincerity and inauthenticity. I think people try way too hard to fit in and are too afraid to be themselves for fear of rejection. I want to create an ideal for people — that they can be weird and like what they like and still be accepted by people.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Unfaithful by Rihanna. I probably sing that song every day still. Lol.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Regina Spektor is number one! She really brought out the strange side of my personality and musical taste and I cannot thank her enough. Eric Hutchinson for being witty, creative and making fun and catchy songs! The Beatles, because duh.

What inspires you to make music?

Life experience. If I am happy or sad, I am overwhelmed with feelings until I write a song about it - then I’m back to my equilibrium.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Life isn’t perfect, and people hurt you a lot. It isn’t always their fault- sometimes it’s yours - but you have to admit that to yourself, try to change and move on.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Completely calm, at peace with myself.
