I Lightshaped sono nati, quasi per gioco, alla fine del 2012 come Breeze Acoustic Quartet da un gruppo di 4 amici mal assortiti ma molto affiatati, che si divertivano a riarrangiare e proporre in acustico, in modo semplice ma mai banale, i grandi classici della storia del Blues e del Folk. Rimasti presto in 3, paradossalmente si accorsero che 2 generi non gli bastavano più, e cominciarono a spingersi verso altri generi e altri orizzonti sonori, spinti da un desiderio comune di ricerca musicale e scoprendo strada facendo di stare acquistando davvero una propria "identità ". La composizione di un repertorio inedito in uno stile tutto nuovo sancisce la nascita dei Lightshaped: radici salde nelle origini acustiche e crescita verso sperimentazioni sonore originali tutte da scoprire. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Lightshaped were casually born at the end of 2012 as "Breeze Acoustic Quartet", a group of 4 odd but good friends who had fun re-arranging and playing the great hits of Blues and Folk history in an acoustic, simple but never trivial way. Soon the 4 became 3, but they paradoxically realized that 2 genres were not enough for them. So, they started exploring other genres and other musical horizons, driven by the wish to search for new sounds, but discovering in the meantime that they were really "shaping" their own identity as artists. The creation of their own repertoire in a whole new style marks the birth of the Lightshaped: deep roots in their acoustic origins and growth in original sound experiments... a listening experience you can't miss.
