Welcome Back!

After a two year hiatus I decided to bring back Sick Robot. Why? I'm good at what I do and enjoy making music. I've had airplay on BBC TEES Introducing and have lot's of support. I've also written stuff under the guise of Chiptune Fanatic and older material as Digital Echo. I had a good run with Werkstatt Recordings a few years ago but they started to focus on Synth Wave based songs only. My very first song "Filtered Air" was featured in Computer Music and had a very positive review.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

It gives me an outlet to express my feelings and to let my imagination run wild.

What is your music dream?

I'd like to be signed to a label that doesn't play daylight robbery.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Good question. More freedom of choice I guess

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Space Oddity-David Bowie

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

David Bowie, Kraftwerk, OMD, New Order, Depeche Mode and Pitchshifter.

What inspires you to make music?

Everyday situations. And sometimes I'll get an idea in my head that has to be turned into a song.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Go and enjoy yourself!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I haven't performed in front of an audience. But I have my songs played on the local radio station. This makes me proud.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Don't get too big headed. You'll loose sight of what you are trying to achieve.

What do you think of Drooble?

It's a really good system. Others should take note.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Being told that you're not original and when folks copy others and claim it's unique.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

By spreading the word via word of mouth and social media.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Good manners and remembering to say "please" and "thank you"
