A rogue element...

I've been a drummer for almost 44 years and a bass guitarist for 35 years. I also sing and play a bit of guitar and keyboards. I'm looking for that ever-elusive national touring situation. That's right...at 51 years of age, "The Dream" is still alive and kicking!

Genres

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Freedom of expression and the ultimate creative outlet.

What is your music dream?

To tour nationally with like-minded individuals.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Making people aware that we're not that far apart.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Solsbury Hill, by Peter Gabriel.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Good grief...is there enough space available here? Rush, Yes, The Alan Parsons Project, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Peter Gabriel, Jeff Beck, The Sweet, Triumph...you get the idea...I hope!

What inspires you to make music?

The feedback loop between artist and audience.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Have fun! Life is wayyyy too short to live upset and angsty.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Empowered...supercharged!

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Too much pre-recorded garbage. Too much sampling and autotune going on.

What do you think of Drooble?

Great idea!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Lack of dedication from fellow musicians. Unprepared people, in general. Know your parts, then deliver the goods.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I do my best to support my local music scene, but with more bars and clubs switching to DJ's, live music isn't faring so well here.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Talent and dedication are all you'll ever need.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

I'll get back to you on this one...lol
