What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a fabulous gift of celebration and empowerment - of who we are, who we want or hope to be, who we love and want and who we don't. Music gives us voice when we perform, and when we listen to music and connect with something, we know we are not alone in our joys, struggles, and heads. Music speaks for me when I can't.

What is your music dream?

I live it each time I pick up my guitar and play. Due to health issues my playing days have become fewer and harder to hold onto. My dream now is to simply appreciate and slowly enjoy each note as they come.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Myself. Change begins with each of us.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Neil Sedaka's "Walking in the Rain." I was 12 and in love.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Ali Handal, Hillsong United, Phil Keaggy, Jimi Hendrix, Segovia.

What inspires you to make music?

Everything in life.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

It's never too late to celebrate life.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Happy. Connected to the world in a very special way.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It all depends upon your goals as a musician. The one thing that can always be improved upon are music skills and our interpersonal relationship skills. A true musician never thinks he can't learn something from someone else.

What do you think of Drooble?

Just joined and so far, digging it.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not having enough time to play with other musicians.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes. I attend local concerts at hole-in-the-wall places where music is best. We host house concerts. I buy music I like to support artists.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

A solid understanding of the power of social networking.
