I produce hip hop, Rap, and a bit of RnB. What does it give me? That's quite a broad question but let me try to answer as best as I can. I've been making music for about 9 years now and since the start, it has been my main source of income. it hasn't been easy but through the different challenges I've experienced Ive grown. From a production level to a financial level. To answer this differently, I'd say it gives me a platform to be myself. Yes, things like trends and beat/production styles do influence the type of music we make but I still believe that I'm me when I put pen to pad or when I'm behind the mic. Music has given me a sense of pride. it isn't easy to do what we do. Especially at the level some of us are.
