I'm the only performing singer-songwriter I know of on Earth who only has one vocal cord because my left cord was paralyzed in a tumor removal surgery. My voice is a lot rougher than it was before the surgery but a lot of people like it better now. I'm just thrilled to still be able to perform. It means the world to me.
Writing music is my therapy. Nothing makes me feel better than writing that i like. Performing creations feom my brain that other people enjoy kind of blows me away. Thats the coolest thing.
I would be thrilled to play big summer festivals and tour Europe.
I would remove the insane wealth inequality in the world.
My favorite song as a kid and what inspired me to be a folk singer was Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car"

Pain and mental illness
I mostly want people to think I'm clever
I used to get really nervous bit that's gone. I feel completely comfortable on stage. Probably more so than I do in my normal life.
