My creative process always begins with the identification of the following: – a specific idea – the target audience – Whether I’m bored or not I usually get ideas from watching internet videos. I feel like music can accompany certain ideas well. When I hear the music, I recall the idea, the emotions attached to it, etc. making music composition one of the most creative and fulfilling ways for me to do this.
Admittedly, I compose mostly for my own listening and enjoyment. My go-to principle is that if my piece doesn’t impress me or I don’t find it powerful enough, I can’t expect other listeners to appreciate it. So really what this means is that music that I may post on here eventually has done that: I am proud of whatever content is on my account.
Mainly grateful if I see people are appreciating it, i.e getting some meaningful emotions from the performance.
