Kenya Johnson is an electronic RnB singer songwriter taking influences from artists such as Nao, Flume, Chet Faker and Ray Blk. She has forged together electronic synths and keyboards with RnB beats and smooth vocals. She has performed in venues around Southampton and Guildford ranging from The Mayflower to bars and clubs. Kenya also reached the Final of the UK Songwriting Competition in Camden London. Kenya has performed in a range of events from choirs, weddings, main parts in theatrical plays to then start developing her own style when she studied music at Richard Tauntons college, Southampton and now ACM, Guildford. She organised her own sold out EP Launch in winchester and has recently had one of her songs played on BBC Solent Introducing. Kenya has worked with many producers including Future music and Charthouse studios.
