Kely Pinheiro

Story

Kely Pinheiro is a Niteroi-born cellist and arranger who, after getting a full scholarship from one of the most prestigious music colleges in the United States, Berklee College of Music, moved to Boston and now she's taking a double major in Performance and Contemporary Writing and Production. Her first steps in music were made possible through the Grota String Orchestra, which helped her to develop her skills and play in several orchestras in Rio de Janeiro, such as the PetrobrĂ¡s Symphony Orchestra Youth Academy and Camerata Laranjeiras. Through music, she also participated in projects and music festivals in Brazil and abroad. She recently returned to Brazil after going on tour in Europe with the Norwegian singer Astrid S, where Kely was even cited by Aftenposten, one of Norway's largest newspaper.
