What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is my soul food -- it brings light, joy, and passion to my life. That is why I have an electronic music studio in my home. At Age 52 I finally was signed to two record label distribution contracts and I do a podcast on Anchor.fm where I interview indie artist from around the world as Phantom Electric Ghost. So music is my heart and soul's desire realized

What is your music dream?

My full dream is create an Expansive Sound studio in New Hampshire and record indie artist from around the world using Hardware; analog and digital musical gear. On the way to this goal I would also like to be recognized for my experiment electronic music

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Open people's hearts so that they are less cold and more supportive of all people's dreams

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I think that Dyan's Tangled Up In Blue really made it's mark on me. It has informed my song writing style to pull in personal experiences to my music

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Sun Ra, Parliament Funkadelic, John Coltrane, Bob Dylan, Husker Du, The Replacements, Joy Division, Yes, Genesis(Peter Gabriel line up), The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, Duran Duran, Bright Eyes

What inspires you to make music?

Pain, longing, anomie, social dissonance, and joy.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

If you believe in yourself everything is possible

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel validated, inspired and free when I perform. I typically do a show with my hardware synths(Moogs, Rolands, Teenage Engineering OP-Z, Arturia, and Euro Rack gear) I do these performances as a one man band and I love the feedback from a close knit intimate audience -- 200-300 seat clubs..

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I believe that streaming services severely under pay artists. I believe a new model needs to be developed to provide fans with content in a form that they are willing to pay a fair price for. Artist need to be compensated so that they can live as artists and not have to have day jobs.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think Drooble is a great platform ...I looking forward to using it quite a lot in the present and near future

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The ability to get through to an audience without bureaucracy and less than honest power brokers.

I support the music scene by interviewing indie artist from around the world and providing free promotion via my Phantom Electric Ghost Podcast on Anchor.fm

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Innovation, grit, passion, and distinctive unique vision that pulls an audience in.
