Story

Kadeem Sobers is a Singer, Songwriter, Steel Pan Arranger, Music Producer and Musician from Central Trinidad. Born into a musical family, which includes reggae artist Marlon Asher, calypsonian Stacey Sobers and Music Video Director and Producer Sheldon Mendoza, his grandfather "Glenford Sobers" was the owner of a Single Pan band called "New Age Trendsetters" and that’s where young Kadeem developed his talent as a musician. Growing up with his father Glenford Sobers Jr. who is also a world class musician who has traveled to many countries performing and taking Kadeem to some of his shows as a child played an important role in the grooming of young Mr. Sobers into his own career as a Musician from an early age.. Kadeem is a very multitalented person being able to play any instrument he can get his hands on, however the Steel Pan became his major instrument and he has been performing all over his home country of Trinidad & Tobago with several different bands. Over the years of playing the Steel pan he is became a Steelpan Arranger and began arranging for the Pan Revival Steel Orchestra in 2015 for the National Panorama Competition. Kadeem started singing in 2013 and decided to teach himself Music Production and eventually attended the National Energy Skills Centre where he learnt the art of Sound Recording and Music Production. Over the years Kadeem has completed The Artist Diploma in Music Performance and is now pursuing The Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. Kadeem Sobers intends to grow as a musician and become an inspiration to other young musicians of the future generations.
