What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a place of peace, it’s entering a world with no distractions around you. I love it there!

What is your music dream?

Is it cliche to say “Win a Grammy?” It’s not so much the award it’s going up there on stage and giving thanks to those that helped me achieve my dream, I want to be able to thank so many people and give them recognition they deserve.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Probably start with this Coronavirus you diggggg!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Carly Simon - Coming Around Again ahh my mom played that song so much I remember being in the car hearing that song, sometimes falling asleep, it just brings so much comfort to my heart.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Hands down Lauryn Hill, no female rapper has had the influence and impact as Lauryn despite the record sold from the new class, Lauryn’s impact is unmatched.

What inspires you to make music?

My dad. He passed away when I was just about to graduate college, and doing music is a way to keep connected with him. When I don’t do music, I get sad because I know he’d want me to pursue it to the fullest, it was his dream and I want to carry that legacy for him.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

My message would be despite the obstacles you may endure, you gotta find a way to fight for your dreams.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Happiness and joy. It’s always fun to connect with new people, and get to talk to them after the shows.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

You can’t do the same shit everyone is doing and stand out. You gotta be yourself, and be consistent with the hardest things for new artists to accomplish today.

What do you think of Drooble?

It’s cool, I like it.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not having the money yet to do a feature with Drake!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Of course, a lot of my friends do music I know indie music more than the commercial music out today.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

You have to have money, I think that’s the first thing you need. It’s the way of the artist today, invest in yourself and others will invest in you. Nowadays you don’t need to be good, you just need money. You can literally put out shit, with the right market, that shit looks nice!
