Story

We all have that favorite song you need to hear every day. Whether it's the song you play as you're cruising down the highway, windows down, or the song you listen to when you're staring at the ceiling questioning all of existence at 3 AM. In either situation the song spoke to you, and made you feel like someone else was there, like someone else understood how you were feeling and wants you to know that they are here with you. I've had a lot of favorite songs in my life, not all happy, but not all sad either. Never in my life did I think that I would make music, let alone full songs, but life happens. I was in a bad spot and was waiting for my saving grace. My music shuffled throughout the days and I couldn't find anyone to help me through the situation in front of me. But just as time began to start passing again, I began to remember why my old music was so important to me. I heard the artists that spoke to me and learned through their experiences. I ended up in a better place than I was before, and I knew that I wanted to share my message with other people who need to hear it. I wanted to finally be there for someone and help people by sharing my own experiences.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music gives me the peace of mind that I'm not alone, it helps me connect with other people and learn from their experiences. It lets me express myself and deal with my own problems head-on while also letting my listeners hear my struggles and the messages I hope to leave.

What is your music dream?

My music dream is to help the kids who feel like they're alone, and to empower them and move them to improve their own situations. I want you to know that I am here for you, and that we are all learning at our own pace. I want to be that voice that pulls you back to earth and lets you know that things truly do get better.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Education is a major key to changing the world and I hope to help show people that emotions and awareness of other people's emotions are keys to allowing people to connect. I want to teach people how to connect with the people around them and how to have a more positive outlook on problems that affect everyone.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

If I had to go all the way back... I would say Lil Wayne Lollipop. This is hilarious to me because I was 7 years old listening to this man speak about all of the wonders of adulthood.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar have to top the chart because they both showed me how to openly speak my mind, even if it is a vulnerable spot. Because in the end there are other people out there going through the same struggles and these are artists who gave them a voice.
