I was a touring musician (bass) that turned into a project studio operator (AyerWaves Underground Studio - Tennessee), to a radio host (WHAY) in 2012, and now I am the founder and head of AyerWaves Entertainment. We host and organize music festivals, concerts, and community benefits.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

To steal a line from Tom Waits, "Songs are just really interesting things to be doing with the air". Music gives me an expression.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Seeing the lack of accountability, consistency, and a drive to always push forward.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes, I attend as many live performances as possible, I book local acts, I get the local scene radio airplay, and I buy physical copies of albums.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Talent.
