What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the Fifth element!

What is your music dream?

hmm, not sure...hopefully to play live a bit more when my children grow up as they’re young at the moment. For now, I’m happy to write and jam about.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Population control. Too many people in this world and why would any family feel the need to have 10 kids+?

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Mr Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra. I still remember hearing it for the first time when I was 9 or 10 years old. It blew my little mind!

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

ELO, Beatles, Rush, Genesis, Marillion, Depeche Mode, Boards Of Canada, Neil Young, Nick Drake, Manic Street Preachers, John Frusciante

What inspires you to make music?

Life and other weird shit.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Just enjoy life, try not to compare it to others and take each day as it comes.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Anxious, nervous, charged, excited, happy.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think the days of ‘rock stars’ in music has waned considerably. Many musicians today work around day jobs and family responsibilities because earning money from your music is just so fuckin’ tough! I don’t know how this can be improved without any luck thrown in.

What do you think of Drooble?

so far so good...

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Getting people to actually listen to your music. Then hopefully they hear the full track. Then hopefully, they’d like to hear it again sometime!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Bit difficult for me to do this without doing so online, due to being a Father to two young children. When they’re older, I’ll hopefully return to local open mic nights.
