What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the melody of a person's heart reaching out to form a connection in a language understood by all.

What is your music dream?

To continue to know and follow the joy of exploring the sounds, feelings and thoughts that come alive from the meeting of the self and the other-than-self.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Removal of the idea that survival is a solitary occupation

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

The Boxer by Simon & Garfunkel

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I know that just about every artist/musician has a diverse and expensive list, so I'll try to keep mine reasonably short: Tool, Dave Matthews, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, U2, Rush, Cat Stevens, Pearl Jam, Fleetwood Mac, John Butler Trio.

What inspires you to make music?

It's the great mystery for most of us: Where do the voice and effort originate from? I write and play to continue my search for the answer. Plus it's just fun and it feels good to both create alone and to commune in sound and ideas with others.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That creating music is as much a process of self-discovery as it is reaching out to others. It's also okay to find that as we dive in to make music, we will cross through both light and shadows along the way. Beauty can be discovered in both places.

What do you think of Drooble?

Love it! What a great idea...a LinkedIn for musicians. I love that people/musicians from throughout the world can now find, encourage and inspire one another in ways that once weren't possible. Heartfelt cheers to the service.
