What is music to you? What does it give you?

it is the purest for, of every emotion all wrapped up into sound. a good musician can project the way he feels with just a well played note

What is your music dream?

I was a professional bass player in the late 90’s and you’re opening for some big acts. now as a happily married father of 4 it’s to have a local steady gig where I can play some covers and some original music, and be able to still watch my kids grow up

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

if I could make people value all human life above all else. that’s what’s wrong with the world today. the school shootings happen because no one is taught that life is precious. following that I’d teach all politicians how to work together and to value their constituents above money

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

The Land Down Under, Men at Work. that is the song that made me want to play music and want a Strat. I was 8 when I saw the video

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

gov’t mule, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Black Crowes, Eric Gales, Richie Kotzen ( mainly his 70’s sounding stuff) Phish, Dead and Company, Jerry Garcia, John Mayer Trio, Greg Koch, Colin Hay, RHCP.......

What inspires you to make music?

life itself. existence is a magical thing and deserves to be celebrated. every day you wake up breathing is a thing of beauty, even a bad day alive is better than death

What is the message you want to send with your music?

love and respect for all. everyone feels alone at some point in their lives and we tend to forget that.... every one has felt that way so you truly aren’t alone even when you feel you are

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I’m an introvert so stage performance is a rush for me. I’m comfortable in front of a mixing console. once I get into the music all fear goes!
